Description
The MAX7219CNG IC is a newer version of the MAX7219 that is pin-compatible and has the same features, but it is also RoHS compliant and has a lower power consumption. The MAX7219CNG is a serial input/output common cathode display driver that interfaces microprocessors (µPs) to 7-segment numeric LED displays of up to 8 digits, bar-graph displays, or 64 individual LEDs.
